We all need places to gather the things we use everyday. The objects we choose for this purpose should be more than just useful. They should provide interest, even inspiration. I create pieces for this purpose using vintage and salvaged materials because of the history these materials carry and the stories they can inspire. Description
It's the other Washington Monument if you live in DC. This one is in the lovely Mt. Vernon Square in Baltimore. This photo, circa 1902, is a classic view. The image in the tray is a map of Baltimore and the shelf is edged with wood reminiscent of the old houses on the square.
