    Walter Johnson, a mining engineer, traveled the Seward Penninsula of Alaska in the early 1900's via his dogmobile.  On the back of his copy of this photo taken in 1912 was written "When it was time to coast, the dogs would jump aboard without command" The tray has a map of Alaska and the shelf is edged with vintage model train track
