We all need places to gather the things we use everyday. The objects we choose for this purpose should be more than just useful. They should provide interest, even inspiration. I create pieces for this purpose using vintage and salvaged materials because of the history these materials carry and the stories they can inspire. All Had Matter Art is handmade by me in my studio.

Description
My favorite license plates are the vintage ones that have all the old sayings like this one that says 'America's Dairyland'. With a saying like that I had to find the right picture of cows. I love this picture because it's one of those pictures that's hard to take on purpose. The cows are cut off at the knees and it is slightly crooked. I did not edit it, that's the way it was photographed.
