We all need places to gather the things we use everyday. The objects we choose for this purpose should be more than just useful. They should provide interest, even inspiration. I create pieces for this purpose using vintage and salvaged materials because of the history these materials carry and the stories they can inspire. Description
When I was making this collage I was imagining a magazine photo shoot for birdhouses. Mr. and Mrs. Raven at home in their living room. I put clouds in the doorway and on the shelf since their house would be in the air. The vintage shutter wood that edges the shelf varies with each one.
