We all need places to gather the things we use everyday. The objects we choose for this purpose should be more than just useful. They should provide interest, even inspiration. I create pieces for this purpose using vintage and salvaged materials because of the history these materials carry and the stories they can inspire. Description
This 1935 photo was taken in West Memphis, Arkansas, just over the Mississippi river from Memphis, TN. Like many old photographs, the names of the musicians are unknown. The image in the tray is from a 1914 catalog that sold just about everything from guitars to plows. The shelf is edged with salvaged will vary with each one.
